Please help to save these dogs by giving them a loving home, or if you are not ready to commit long-term then please consider fostering one of these lovely dogs.
At the Paralimni Dog Pound we try and do our best to keep the dogs in our care healthy, happy and comfortable, but it's a difficult challenge as the Pound is so often near to over-flowing with these unwanted pets. It's not an ideal situation for these poor dogs and some have been in care for a year or more.
They are walked and fed once a day in the morning by volunteers but there aren't always enough people available to help out and we are always on the look-out for more hands to help.
What do we do?
Helping Hounds
Paralimni Dog Pound is run by volunteers whose aim is to find permanent homes for the many stray and abandoned dogs who are found wandering the streets.
Most of these dogs are unwanted and have been abandoned to the streets by their owners. They feel lost, confused and all they want is a warm home with a loving family where they can feel safe.
We try to find homes both here in Cyprus and also abroad. We also badly need people in Cyprus to foster for varying lengths of time whilst our furry friends wait for a loving permanent home or whilst waiting to be flown to a new home abroad.
